Tag 1: Seattle

After 9 hours of flight, we landed in Seattle on time at 10:40 am. Our cover photo gives you a good overview of Seattle, with the skyline on the left and the historic harbor in the foreground. In the middle, you can see the freight harbor and on the left a promontory where the beautiful and wealthy have settled.

But step by step.

First, we explored the historic harbor (Waterfront Park) and decided to take a harbor tour by boat (Argosy Cruises, Pier 55).

In our opinion, the best view of the city can be seen from the water.

After the boat tour, we made our way on foot towards the Space Needle. Going up costs 22 dollars and you have to wait about 3 hours, which we were not willing to do :).

On the way back, we strolled through Pike Place Market. The motto here is 'From Producer to Consumer'. Some fishermen sell their fresh catch here and there is a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as countless flower stands.

Outlook: On Day 2, we will visit the historic Pioneer Square before picking up our motorhome around noon.
