The Attack of the Killer Ants!

When I opened my big backpack just now to pack it up for the next journey, I was shocked to find that it had been taken over by thousands of tiny ants - barely larger than little lightning bugs. They found my emergency cereal bars deep in my backpack, even though they were individually wrapped and packed in a waterproof bag. They made two tiny holes (needle diameter) in the bag and also made a small hole in 5 out of the 11 bars. Crazy twice! Firstly, the fact that these creatures have such fine antennas and secondly, that they can bite through bags and plastic wrap!
