From Bali we continued to Singapore.
After a 2 1/2 hour flight, we reached our hostel at 23:45.
There we quickly checked-in, made plans for the next day, and went straight to sleep.
On Thursday morning we had breakfast and went to the shopping center.
We spent several hours in the different malls. You could have thought that we landed in New York. 🙈
We had lunch and then went on to Merlion Park, which is one of Singapore's most famous landmarks. We looked at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel from the outside. This is a hotel with 51 floors and a huge ship-shaped pool on the roof. One night here costs about $200.
Then we went on to Gardens by the Bay. The huge garden with individual greenhouses. All kinds of flowers and very beautiful figures.
In the evening there was a light show in the park. It was done really nicely, so that the lights twinkled in time with the music. 😍
On the 3rd day we had dinner at Hans im Glück, took a walk in the Botanic Garden, and then visited Chinatown.
The weather wasn't the best these days because there were occasional showers, but it was an incredibly humid heat like in the tropics.
When we arrived at the hostel in the evening, we packed our suitcases so that we were already ready for our flight to Bangkok tomorrow.
