1. Week 19-25/9/22

The first week is almost over and I have already experienced a lot. On Friday, after a welcome BBQ at school, I went to the beach with my host parents. On Saturday, there was the Lemon Festival in Goleta, which I visited with two colleagues. On Sunday morning, I went stand up paddling on the sea with my host mom, which is a different experience than on the lake. In the afternoon, there was a BBQ organized by the ski club that my host parents are active in. All in all, I have already started to settle in here, even though I miss home in certain ways.
