Here’s a new update from me. ☺️ It’s great to have you with me again!

In my last blog post, I hinted that I would be staying in Ansbach for a bit longer. My master’s program starts in October, and I’ve now been re-enrolled for it. I can hardly believe I am continuing my studies for at least another year and a half. Well, I couldn’t have received a clearer message from above. I’m not sad that the internship in Mannheim didn’t work out; I’m sure there’s a good reason for that.

But now for my recent weeks. I’m still on my semester break, and because I am working more than usual, it hasn’t been particularly relaxing. 😅

What’s been happening… well, I attended the wedding of a couple from our church that was mentioned previously. Then I went to Mannheim with my aunt to explore the city (since I was considering the internship there, I wanted to know what it’s like). The funny part was that I found out right then that they chose someone else. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and did a few activities (see pictures). Afterward, we also stopped by Heidelberg, which is quite nearby. 😃

I also spent a few days alone at Lake Constance. It was really beautiful! 🤩 Unfortunately, there isn’t much water there at the moment. One Sunday, I went to the ICF there. I met some lovely, friendly young people. And just like that, I was invited to a barbecue. I ended up in the garden of strangers having great conversations. I love meeting Christians around the world. There’s an immediate connection, and they are always so warm and welcoming. 🫶 So actually, I wasn’t alone at Lake Constance at all. In the following days, I did things with my new friends as well, exploring Friedrichshafen, Meersburg, and Konstanz together. 😉 A big thank you again for spending time with me! 😊

Back home, the special solar eclipse was approaching. The demand was crazy. I noticed this at work as well. Of course, I had already set aside a pair of glasses for myself. Finally, there’s an advantage to working in a photo shop. 😂

Between building furniture, cooking, and gardening, everyday life continued normally. Until one Sunday, when I decided to visit a church in Würzburg. Anyone who knows me knows that I like to do this occasionally to connect with other young people and broaden my horizons. Würzburg is truly a beautiful city!! 🌆

I also visited my brother in North Rhine-Westphalia again. It’s always a pleasure. This time, we went to Karls Erlebnisdorf in Oberhausen together. They had small rides for children. I think my niece had fun - her aunt did too! 😏🙃

Otherwise, I sometimes enjoy the evenings with the girls on our lovely terrace with stick bread. There’s also some new news regarding our shared flat; two people are moving out soon. Currently, we have three young men and four young women living together. Let’s see who impresses us during the apartment viewings. 🤭

This past Monday, I was able to pick up my graduation documents from the university. So I am officially a bachelorette. 🥳

It won’t be long until I start my master’s program. That’s why I’m going on vacation one more time—this Sunday with my sister. I can’t reveal where we’re going yet, otherwise she’ll find out before we leave. She doesn’t know yet because it’s a surprise trip I gifted her for her 18th birthday, and now we’re finally doing it. 😃 More details in the next blog post! There are truly exciting things planned. ☺️

I also mentioned that there is a small conflict going on in my church right now. I am working on it, and a resolution is in sight. I have to say, I am also growing a lot personally through this.

In early October, I am invited to a wedding. For that, I’ll be heading back to North Rhine-Westphalia. I’ve been there quite often lately, but I love it! 😁 That’s it for the preview.

I still can’t believe I’m continuing my studies—and for at least another year and a half. Well, I couldn’t have gotten a clearer answer from above. I’m not sad that the internship in Mannheim didn’t work out. I’m sure there’s a good reason for it.

But now on to my last few weeks. I’m currently still on my semester break, and since I’m working more than usual right now, it hasn’t been all that relaxing. 😅

So what’s been going on… well, I went to the wedding of a couple from our church that had been announced. Then I went to Mannheim with my aunt to check out the city (in case I’d gotten the internship there, I wanted to know what the city was like). The funny thing was that I found out right there that they’d decided on someone else. We enjoyed our time there anyway and did a few things (see pictures). Afterward, we also stopped by Heidelberg. It’s pretty close by, after all. 😃

I also spent a few days on my own at Lake Constance. It was truly beautiful! 🤩 Unfortunately, there’s very little water there right now. One Sunday, I went to the ICF there.
