So here we finally go!
After Leon's "Kita-Rauswurf" on Wednesday and further packing and preparations, we set off towards the south on late Thursday afternoon (13.05.) with the caravan.
The first stop after 120km was the Altwarmbüchener See near Hanover.
Thanks to the app camp4night, we found a super nice pitch here for the "restoration of drivability" despite the campsites being closed due to the corona pandemic, including pizza dinner.
The next day, we continued 300km on the A7 with a lunch stop in Guxhagen south of Kassel, to our next overnight spot in Eichenzell near Fulda with a mega playground next door. Daniel quickly repaired our caravan pump - so now we have running water again for autonomous camping 😊.
On Saturday, we continued with an intermediate stop in Baiersdorf near Nuremberg for a short visit with dear friends and for overnight stay on the outskirts of Ingolstadt.
Today, on Sunday, we took a PCR test in Rosenheim, which we will need for entry into Croatia. This time we will be staying overnight in the forest in Piding at the Austrian border, and tomorrow we will continue on to Italy.
