Reschensee

From Lake Constance we went across the Fern Pass with a view of the Zugspitze through Austria to northwest Italian South Tyrol. 

In 1950, the villages were flooded at Lake Reschen to build a reservoir - that's how the church tower still looks out of the water today.

In the Austrian and Italian surroundings, we took the cable car up to enjoy the mountain panorama - and Louis finally got his beloved Kaiserschmarrn :-)
