Blue Lake

Last weekend we visited the 'Blue Lake'. Due to minerals from a former mining pit, the water of the lake appears bluish-green. With two AIST teachers, we hiked through the forest for an hour until we finally reached the lake. Then we had a picnic there and ate 'Sarmale' (Romanian cabbage rolls). After that, a few volunteers couldn't resist trying out the rope that you can jump into the lake with. On the way back, we also explored the entrance of a former mine (Crăpătura Zorilor).
