We are woken up by the sun. Contrary to the weather forecast, the morning seems to be good and we head to Rainbow Beach after breakfast and drive to a sand dune overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The road to Rainbow Beach leads through a national park, whose nature we are immediately thrilled with. In combination with our exciting audio play, the journey could also take longer : )
We reach the parking lot and after a few minutes walk we stand on the top of Carlo Sandblow, from where you can see both the rainforest and the sea. As mentioned before, we are lucky with the weather, so the sand looks simply amazing in contrast to the forest and the sea. We enjoy the view and take pictures. Pretty beautiful here!
As we get back to the car, it starts to rain. We drive to a campsite in Tin Can Bay, a town not too far away. It keeps raining here as well. We can probably forget about the relaxed evening in front of our camper. At least I can continue writing the blog. Due to the storm that also did not spare Tin Can Bay, the internet is said to be quite unreliable according to the campsite owner. Let's see if the blog can be updated with bad internet.
