Rollercoaster ride

Since le Mont-st-michel I have been on the Eurovelo 4, the velo maritime. The cycle path is more for sporty or e-bike riders, because it goes up and down, left and right, zigzags or in curves the whole time. It is like a rollercoaster, only much slower and very varied. Sometimes you are on the beach or the harbor and then again on a viewpoint. I found Cap Fréhel with its steep cliffs particularly impressive. Some people were standing there with huge telescopes, apparently there are penguins there, but I couldn't find them.

I didn't like the town of Saint Brieuc at all. It is carved out by a river valley and has an enormous number of ugly buildings. It seemed somewhat abandoned to me and I didn't really feel at home. The best thing there was the evening meal in the restaurant.

The sun has been shining since this week, so I can always sit outside and even cycle in shorts and a t-shirt. The wind is still very fresh, especially in the mornings, but the sunsets are fantastically beautiful. At the last campsite I even had a sea view from my tent.
