The departure is near
The backpacks are packed and all that's left is to think about what we might have forgotten.. Is it true? Can we actually travel to the Philippines again after two and a half...

The Philippines have been open to tourists again since February. However, the stay is limited to 30 days and there is a list of documents required for entry. Naturally, a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test (not longer than 48 hours before departure) are required. A travel insurance must cover at least $35,000 in medical expenses in case of Corona and there are various tracing apps needed, with a different one for each province.
Now the Taal volcano has also erupted - whether the flight from Manila to Cagayan de Oro will be possible remains to be seen.
