Tag 40 - Palms Springs & Roadtrip to San Diego

Take down tents, have breakfast, slowly leave the national park, find a shower.

Then I take a little detour and have lunch in Palms Springs.

I see Marylin Monroe (the woman is really dolled up), otherwise I think there's not much going on here except for some light water waste (green lawn in front of the hotels, brown around it - at least the electricity for all the air conditioners is generated from wind and solar power - cities are always in the valley where it's flat - and super hot.. artificial oases in the desert).

In the afternoon, I arrive in San Diego. I immediately like the city, very relaxed and friendly people.

I meet people again, we stroll around a bit. I'm in the Gas Lamp District in Downtown, the place is jumping - just bars and restaurants.

In the evening, we go out partying.
