In the morning, we took one last excursion with our travel group to the ANIMA Garden.

The garden was designed by the Austrian universal artist André Heller, who began projects in Marrakech in the 1970s.

In 2008, preparations for the garden began, which were to last eight years.

In the garden, alongside numerous plants, artworks by various artists can be seen.

Narrow paths wind through the garden, which we could explore in peace.

After the garden tour, we sat down on the rooftop terrace with a drink and enjoyed the view and the beautiful weather.

Alongside the visitors, some of the many cats that we encountered everywhere in Morocco were also resting there.

After the return trip, we took a short break at the hotel and enjoyed some of the treats we had bought the day before at the Pâtisserie des Princes in the old town.

Then we took a walk through the newer part of the city. Away from the grand streets, it unfortunately didn't look as nice and the sidewalks were a bit more adventurous.

It got a little nicer when we reached our destination, the Jardin Menara. Here, there is an old olive grove through which a long road runs.

We went directly to the large water basin Bassin La Menara with a pavilion.

By the water, we lingered a bit, looking at the snow-capped mountains behind the pavilion and also enjoyed a freshly squeezed pomegranate juice that was offered here.

We walked along Avenue Prince Moulay Rachid to the Menara Mall.

There, we made a short shopping stop and admired the extravagant Christmas decorations.

We returned to the hotel via the beautifully designed Boulevard Mohamed VI.

The street is wide with a large green strip for pedestrians in the middle.
This pedestrian walkway was also frequently used by mopeds to avoid the traffic jams on the road.
In the evening, we went to a farewell dinner at a riad in the old town before our flight back to Germany the next morning.
