Today I went to the red center, where I arrived after a 3.5-hour flight. Then in the early afternoon, I checked into my room at Uluru-Kata National Park. After a little refreshment, we went to the Olgas, which are 36 orangish-red rock domes, just as spectacular as Ayers Rock. I enjoyed the natural wonder during a short hike. As the rainy season begins, the semi-desert is greening and blooming. A short bus ride led to the actual destination of the day: the sunset at Ayers Rock.
