San Jose del Pacifico

Located 4 hours bus ride away from Oaxaca City, San Jose del Pacifico is the mountain village - my last stop before heading back to the beach. It started raining in the afternoon (during the dry season!) and in the evening I took a walk in the village, but there wasn't much except for fog.

The next day was much nicer and I hiked up to a summit with Daniel from Mexico, watching the clouds move over the valley. Later in the evening, I went to eat Tlayuda again 😊

This day reminded me once again how important cash is outside of major cities. The nearest ATM was an hour away by bus, luckily I found a hotel that gave me some cash with a surcharge.
