Day 7 Wairere Falls
Today we climbed the tallest waterfall in the North Island. It was a challenging climb but totally worth it! Afterwards, we continued to Roturua to a campsite at Lake Okareka.

Today we explored Rotorua - the cultural city of the Maori and the steaming earth. Unfortunately, the Maori Culture Museum was not accessible due to safety reasons. So we settled for the Pacific Ring of Fire, which had bubbling mud and water holes for us to see (: . Everywhere there was steam and the smell of sulfur (we just couldn't get used to it). Really amazing!
Afterwards, we went for a hike in the Redwood Forest. A forest with gigantic trees, a magical atmosphere, and a view of even more bubbling water holes and geysers.
