Auckland in 2 days

Yesterday we took a first look at Auckland City (downtown). Accompanied by a jetlagged Pauline, Basti explored the harbor (many really big expensive ships including high society), green parks and tall buildings...big city, you know (:

Today was more active thanks to decreasing jetlag. We climbed two extinct city volcanoes - former Maori fortifications - accompanied by sheep and their lambs. When we reached the top, we had a great view of Auckland.
