Arrive in Larnaca: The journey begins

The actual traveling is usually the unpleasant part of traveling. Same here. To save money, I booked my journey individually. To do this, I had to leave home at 1:15 a.m. and couldn't really sleep before or during the 3 1/2 hour flight. But at least everything went smoothly and quickly. It wasn't really surprising that the plane landed 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Finally I have to wait 4 hours at the airport for the rest of the group. So enough time to acclimatize and write my first blog post. By the way, this is my first blog. I am therefore happy to receive feedback and tips.

On the landing approach I was surprised that there were no colors other than beige and brown. A first look at the travel guide provides the explanation: The island enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year. So I say goodbye to my fantasy of lying on a meadow for four hours and look for a quiet bench in the bus parking lot.
