After delicious pancakes and a cup of coffee, we briefly discussed our further plans and quickly decided to stay at Carmen's for two more days. Done! The room was even available.
Miriam and Roger wanted to go to Carenero and asked if we would also like to. The weather improved quickly after the rainy night and we decided to spend another day at the beach. Louis was also up for it.
You call the water taxi by waving a white flag and it usually comes quickly. The crossing cost $2 per person and we were picked up at the pier in front of the door. There is no other way, except swimming.
Once we arrived, we went straight into the water to cool off. Some surfers occupied the beach and the nearby reef. Which quickly brought us to the topic of surfing, which is a big thing here. Everyone surfs in some way or at least has stories to tell about it. Louis offered to show us how it's done. So tomorrow we're going surfing. We're excited!
After a quick snack at Bibis with milkshakes and a small snack, we soon headed back to Carmen's.
There, we spent the evening slowly winding down with pizza and beer. Not to forget, a dolphin visited our bay in the evening 🐬
