A must-visit when in Quito.
The Teleferico Cable Car. This was the highest cable car in the world until 2008.
The base station is located at an incredible altitude of 3950m. If you dare, you can climb even higher by foot. I had to stop just before the last station due to circulation problems. The altitude should not be underestimated.
The valley offers many amazing photo opportunities. From the stunning city views to selfies in the clouds, everything is possible.
There is also a cafe where you can buy snacks like cake, empanadas, and drinks.
The price is 8.50 dollars for adults and 4.50 dollars for children. In my opinion, worth every penny!
