Townsville & Magnetic Island

Yesterday we continued towards Townsville, the perfect starting point for a day trip to Magnetic Island. We explored the island on foot and had a great day! There were beautiful hiking trails with a great view. But the highlight was definitely the koalas in the wild! It wasn't easy to find the little animals as they mostly sleep quietly. However, we spotted 8 koalas.

Unfortunately, something broke in our van, so we have to spend another night here and wait for an appointment at a workshop tomorrow. Hopefully, it won't take too long.
