Roadtrip Day 1

Today our little road trip through the north of the North Island started. The landscape changed from farmland full of sheep and cows to rainforest or suddenly a turquoise-blue bay appeared in front of us :D

So another day full of beautiful nature and a thousand new impressions :) one highlight was definitely the Whale Bay and my first (although quite short) hike, where I could observe nesting cormorants in the trees.

In the evening we spent some time at the beach in Paihia and afterwards we had pasta with tomato sauce in the hostel ^^
