30.10.18 - Brisbane

In the morning, we visited another part of Surfers Paradise in sunshine. And it really looked a bit more beautiful 😅 We strolled through a few shops and sat on the beach until 2 pm when the bus to Brisbane arrived.

We got the hostel in Brisbane at a super cheap price with our Greyhound package.... And there was the catch... We slept in a 30-bed room! 😝 That was insane! A huge room in the back corner of the hostel with 15 bunk beds that were actually just 2 normal beds stacked on top of each other... So no ladder and no upper bed boundary 🙈😝 Since it was only for one night, we didn't let it discourage us and went to visit the city.

We heard from many travelers that Brisbane was total shit and not worth staying there.... Honestly? I'm glad I was there! I found it very beautiful. It was super easy to find your way around. Everything was very modern there, but at the same time, there were also a lot of older buildings... And there was art everywhere.

We saw the City Hall, a small church next to it, we were on the shopping mile and in the botanical garden. In the darkness, we went back to the hostel, and everything looked even more beautiful at night! 😊
