On Monday, it was Belinda's birthday, and since Laura's birthday was on Friday, we celebrated by getting them a cake. I have to say it looked better than it tasted 😂 but it was still delicious, just a bit too sweet. After that, we had art class, and the 6th years are currently making statues or something. One of them had a stuffed unicorn (from Despicable Me), and the teacher just cut off the horn and eyes and wrapped it in plastic wrap 😭😭 it looked really cruel, but the teacher seemed very happy...the unicorn has now become a dog.

On Saturday, Sarah and I went to Cork again. This time, instead of walking to the city center from the train station as usual, we just walked along some random alleys. Eventually, we saw two towers in the distance, so we said let's walk there. It was quite a distance, but it was worth it. There were shoes hanging on a power line in front of the church 😂 the church itself was really beautiful. We couldn't go inside because there was an entrance fee, but even from the outside, it was beautiful, and it was also great not to spend the whole day aimlessly walking around shops. After that, we walked back to the city and had food. I had sushi, and it was soooo good and not expensive at all.

This week, we only have 3 days of school because Friday is Saint Patrick's Day, and we have Thursday off. On Friday, we are going to Cork for the parade. I'm looking forward to it 🤗.

Best regards, Pia
