Tuesday: A Trip to Cooperstown
On the school bus

Today we spent another day at the Delaware Academy. The German students from Wittekind Gymnasium were required to present in different classes. We accompanied a group (Helena, Antonia, and Ami) who taught the children in elementary school a bit of German. They talked about colors, numbers, and animals. Afterwards, the American children were allowed to ask questions about our schools in Germany. They also wanted to know what we like to eat, what our houses and schools look like, and how we find America. It was an interesting and fun day.
For lunch, there was bratwurst in a bun in the cafeteria, and after school, we went to the “Blue Bees” café with Silke. In the afternoon, I urgently needed to continue working on my homework from Germany. :-)
