Departure to Ocho Rios

Today, after breakfast, we walked to the airport to the car rental station with a backpack.... it was really difficult.... 28 degrees and 100% humidity and my shoulders hurt after the 2.5 km.... and then we found out that the lady from Sixt car rental called a driver who drove us back to our hotel, where the actual office of the car rental was 😂😂☹

Anyway... the car is nice .... bigger than booked and above all the air conditioning works.

Driving on the left side of the road is a challenge.... especially with the way Jamaicans drive. Nevertheless, we quickly made it to Runaway Bay, where there was delicious Red Snapper fish and then to Ocho Rios.

We had a real problem finding the hotel in Ocho Rios...... Unfortunately, it is really far from the center, in a dark area with many potholes and stray dogs and people with sinister looks. 😯

We wanted to go to the beach or the port by car.... but we failed due to the traffic chaos and fences and hotel complexes....... no access..... and it also rained almost the whole time 😭.... it was really not our day.... except for the meals.... but tomorrow will surely be better☺
