Day 26 – Early Birds

04:30 Alarm clock goes off (loud)

04:40 Ready to leave for the ferry to Cape Jervis. It's pitch dark - except for Yoshi's navigation system, which is blinding

04:50 We're driving slowly. Don't want to run into any kangaroos!

05:00 Arrived at the ferry without any problems

05:05 Loud beeping in Yoshi. Turned off the ignition, deactivated the fire alarm

05:06 Beeping again (loud). What the heck is that?!?!

05:07 Maybe it's the navigation system. It warned us before leaving that it's not advisable to drive in the dark

05:08 Beeping

05:09 Checked in for the ferry crossing

05:15 Still beeping...

05:17 Low battery on the CO detector (beeping from there)

05:20 Boarding with and without Yoshi. This time Sarah wasn't afraid that Marco wouldn't show up

05:30 Departure on Sealink, sailing away (still dark)

06:30 Arrival on the mainland after a bumpy crossing (getting slowly brighter) and driving towards Adelaide

07:30 Refueling - have a day! ;)

08:00 Breakfast in a parking lot with a view of the ocean and beach in Port Nuarlunga

08:45 Me-Time (phone check)

09:30 Sunscreen party and packing for the beach

09:40 Calling Yoshi HQ about refilling LPG

10:00 Settling down on the beach (spot 1). Sunny, slightly windy at first. Later strong sand wind...

10:45 Sand wind too strong, relocating to spot 2 (same beach but further ahead, closer to the coffee)

11:30 Marco wants coffee

11:31 Marco gets coffee, for Sarah too

12:00 Reading party

12:30 Sunscreen party 2

12:50 Sarah goes for a swim (half, belly button was in)

14:00 Beach walk

15:00 Back at Yoshi

15:01 Searching for a campground

15:30 Found a campground, full

15:40 Found one, we're heading there

16:00 Arrived at McLaren Vale Camping (note: in a wine region!)

16:30 Checked in and parked
