Perth

Perth was actually a very short trip for me. On Friday, I mistakenly went to Hillary to get to Rottnest Island, but well, that didn't happen that day. Still, I was able to enjoy the beach there and see some of the surroundings along the way. In the afternoon, I slept for quite a while and then stayed at the hostel where I met a lot of nice people. While you usually meet Germans everywhere, I didn't meet a single one in the hostel. Most of them were from Italy or France, which made the English a bit complicated but it was still possible and I had a little refresh of my French skills. C'est bien. On Saturday, I met with Laura Kolb. She showed me Perth, Kings Park, and her place and then we went to her friends' place.

Perth is actually a very beautiful city that has a lot to offer, and despite being here for such a short time, I'm very happy that I was here at all.
