Day 8: Eating above the clouds

Today was a day to chill. First, we slept in at the apartment of our guest student's parents in Bundang-Gu, did some laundry, and relaxed. We visited the local shopping center and then went to one of the many legendary karaoke booths. It was a huge fun for everyone. We sang 'Last Christmas' together (on Easter Sunday) and many other songs. Afterwards, we headed to the next highlight: a meal at Lotte Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world (555m). A visibly proud grandfather of our guest student invited us to dine on the 82nd floor. We enjoyed the view of nighttime Seoul and were deeply impressed. Tomorrow we will go to Gyeongju, the former capital of Korea, with many sights to see.
