After unsuccessfully trying to understand the mercilessly good Korenglish of our tour guide at the DMZ, we went to a cultural event in the afternoon. We experienced a cooking-drumming show. NANTA was totally awesome, Paula even had to go on stage. Afterwards, we went to one of the thousands of shopping streets and tried some of the 10 million street food options. Mandu, pancakes, smoothies, Oreo churros, and more. The whole fun starts around 5:00 PM and is typically Korean: loud, colorful, and diverse.
Tomorrow we are flying to the volcanic island of Jeju. Let's see what awaits us there.
