Area47 in the Ötztal valley

A weekend in Area47 with 3 colleagues. We arrived at Area47 on Friday around 8:30 PM. Good mood and friendly welcome at the reception. Except for the first bad news that our first booked tour on Saturday, rafting, is canceled. Oh well, we won't let the mood spoil, we move into our tipi and go in search of food. The self-service restaurant has already closed the kitchen, the only other restaurant, a steakhouse, has prices starting at €30. So we all had a salad with turkey strips. Afterwards, we went to the 90s party right next door.

So we missed breakfast on Saturday (it was available until 10 AM) and we had food at the self-service restaurant for about €20 each. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to bring our own food and drinks.

On Saturday afternoon, we went to the Water AREA. For the adventurous activities, you need a wetsuit, shoes, a vest, and a helmet. Since there were too few suits for the visitors, we waited for people to take off their suits and then put them on.

The little wakeboard track was fun.

On Sunday, check-out time was 11 AM, but the people at the reception couldn't say for sure if the canyoning tour would take place in 2 hours. So we went back home.
