22/10 - Vincent's birthday

My Saturday was quite unspectacular: sleeping in, doing laundry, grocery shopping... In the afternoon, I met up with Tracey at Vanilla Bakery, which is the cafe where we first met two weeks ago. Afterwards, we celebrated the birthday of Vincent, another Couchsurfer, with some other Couchsurfers. His request: dinner at a European-style restaurant.

The locals here really love everything European and European food, so it's quite expensive here - well, and you know, tastes differ. The European food here is probably about as European as Asian food in Europe. But aside from the bill at the end, it was a very nice evening and Vincent was really happy about our surprise, a piece of birthday cake :-)
