Small Update

Published: 25.10.2016

Hello dear ones!

Since you haven't heard from us in a long time, here's a little update on what we've been up to in the last week.

After the Fraser Tour, as mentioned in the last blog post, we were in Rainbow Beach, where we went for a beach ride. It was incredibly beautiful and we realized how much we missed being around horses and riding.

The next day we continued to Noosa, where we stayed for three nights. We hiked along the highly recommended Coastal Track in the national park, which took about four hours, and then arrived at Sunshine Coast, so we have already explored it a bit. However, on the way back we switched to the bus, because the hike was really challenging 😄. Unfortunately, on Sunday (23.10) we didn't have good weather, but since we had already booked it the day before, we went to the Australia Zoo in the morning. The weather was actually good for it, as it was cool but dry. The zoo is quite large and beautifully designed. There were also walk-in enclosures, so we could pet kangaroos and koalas and take a few selfies. By the way, Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) used to be the zoo director, so we learned a lot about him as well. There was also a pretty cool show where we could see a crocodile in action.

On Monday, I (Sarah) had to leave Noosa and go to Brisbane, Maren followed a day later because there were some problems with booking the bus. After arrival, we both experienced a little culture shock, as we were no longer used to such big cities. But Brisbane is very beautiful, and we are now looking for jobs.

Unfortunately, we still couldn't solve the problem with the pictures, but I hope that will work out soon.

See you soon, Maren and Sarah

NEW: I was able to upload a few pictures, not all of them, but at least you can get a little glimpse
