Over the land
Time is passing. Our time here in America is now limited. It is undoubtedly an incredibly exciting and thrilling time. We have driven from Alaska back to Canada. As fate would...

Hey there, dear ones🫶It’s been a while since we heard from each other. We have been back on the road since the end of January; we celebrated Christmas beautifully with our family.
We are doing well; in our short time we've already experienced a lot of technical skills. The clutch, specifically the release bearing, had been whining for a while//A workshop that we finally drove to was not able or willing to help us……
20 km from the workshop, we broke down. The clutch gave out.
The Taco Bell parking lot was our saving grace. If no one can help us, we will help ourselves ♥️👍🏽
For the first time, we handled the 350 kg transmission, repaired the release bearing//turning two into one, and we were very proud. Taco Bell provided us with coffee, cola, and food (Thank you, Merci, Thank you).
Unfortunately, the whole thing didn’t work as we had hoped.
The clutch didn’t engage.
2 springs broke and fell into the clutch.
Cooking time: All over again / And repair the clutch. My hands were small enough to remove the part.
Hey MANNI it works‼️‼️‼️
We treated ourselves to 3 days at a campground near Pensacola.
Here too, we meet lovely people who, like us, are on the road. Dear Barbara and hey Henry, you recognized us: We met last year in Canada!
And also Rebecca and Hendrik are passing by in their 4x4.
Oh // In any case, that was a great informative evening.
Henry and Barbara brought a crate of beer, and we had an original bottle of Bacardi (Hey, Meyers even brought 6 identical shot glasses).
It was great.
The next morning, Rebecca and Hendrik booked another stay.
Barbara and Henry left a little later.
Thanks to all of you//Also to Ute and Peter, whom we met in St Andrews Park.
What can I say: we're not even 4 weeks on the road, and you think life is different.
We are now looking forward to New Orleans.
Great if you follow me again//I have to say: we gifted ourselves a satellite antenna for Christmas.
We are reachable ♥️
