1. DAY from Paris to Saint Jean Pied de Port

After a great evening in Paris with Julia and her friends, we set off this morning by train to our starting village. Since I didn't leave on time, I couldn't buy a ticket and Cairo had to travel without one, fortunately we were not caught 😇

On the train, I already met the first other pilgrims. Including Max and Steffi.

Once you arrive in a pilgrim town, you go to a meeting point where you receive a stamp in your pilgrim's credential. We were also lucky to find accommodation, so we are allowed to sleep in a bed on our first night and don't have to camp in the rain. 😉
