Oslo

Our little spring trips across Europe had been on hold for a while, but now - in 2026 - we have the time, motivation, available vacation days, and the general state of the world has allowed us to go again... quite last minute, we've added a trip to Oslo and Stockholm to our itinerary.

There's really not much to write about it - on a sunny day, we strolled through the city for 10+ hours; the next day, we headed from the center to Holmenkollen and back (of course, all on foot), and on day 3, in somewhat rainy weather, we visited the Fram and Kon-Tiki museums (the male 'M' still has some memories from a few youth books). The stay in Oslo was rounded off with a small fjord cruise.
