16.08. last day in the capital
Another tour on the 'Turibus'. The city is so big that you don't even know where to start and stop. We discovered such beautiful spots this time. It felt like we weren't...

New place, new part of the family. This time at our grandpa's brother's, in Atlixco.

Today (18.08.) we went on a trip to Cholula.
Here are some exciting facts:
- the most impressive building is a church, built by Spaniards on a filled-in pyramid. Mexico's largest pyramid.
- from up there you can see the Popocatepetl volcano, covered in snow.
- in Cholula there are 38 (!!!) churches, some super beautiful, others less so.

The church + ruins below.

The volcano hidden in the clouds.

Aiken standing there like a wet sack.

Colorful houses everywhere.

The market hall.

We ate at 'La Lunita'. Aiken felt a bit too Mexican and exaggerated with eating chili, there were some tears haha.
After Cholula, we went back to Atlixco, to the center.

Even more pretty colorful houses.

After 48272847 km, we arrived at the highest point and had a beautiful view.

Ohhhh that was beautiful!

Time goes by so incredibly fast, we're halfway now!
