Karishma's exchange

My exchange partner's name is Lara. She is in 11th grade and does gymnastics. She doesn't like physics - like me - but she likes biology. She takes Maths and Art as two of her A-level subjects. She's very kind.

Lara lives with her mom and dad. She also has an older sister named Anna, but she's studying in Berlin so I won't be seeing her. Lara and her mom came to pick me up from the station because her dad was in Slovakia for work, but he returned this morning.

For breakfast, we've been eating bread, cheese, and fruit. The bread is much harder here, so it's not as nice as in England, but the cheese is a lot nicer!

She cycles or walks to school. However, she usually takes the bicycle because she goes to another school for art, so she has to travel there.

She likes Harry Potter. She has read them all in German and is now reading them in English. She is also vegan, so there's a lot that she can't eat.
