Redwood National Park

Difficult to describe! Mystical atmosphere, overwhelmingly tall trees, some of them over 100 meters. Almost all photos are vertical... but still, you just can't really capture it. This species has existed for millions of years, with individual trees reaching up to 2000 years old. They have survived ice ages, fires, and earthquakes, but 150 years of human activity almost wiped them out. Some trees are hollow or have burn marks, but they remain green and continue to live. Amazing plants! A small road, the Avenue of the Giants, leads right through the forest. It's here that you realize how small and insignificant you are...
