Different, but still the same

Over two months have passed and slowly the realization is sinking in that while everything is different here, it's also somehow the same. After a power outage (which left only hot water running through the pipes), the welcoming party for first-year students (первокурсник), the ballet 'Anna Karenina', Halloween, and several other celebrations, autumn is slowly arriving in Krasnodar.

But even the damp and (still) very warm days invite you to explore the city and stroll on the closed main street on weekends and discover all kinds of Russian halva in the markets.
