Peru - Day 5 - Trip to Paracas

Today the tour in Peru started. It started at 6 o'clock in the morning. The drive went from Lima to Paracas.

There were several stops along the way at sights. The first stop was the war memorial on top of a mountain in Lima, from which you have a beautiful view over Lima.

After breakfast we stopped at Casa Hacienda. This property has a 'slave tunnel'. These were used as torture chambers but also as hiding places for the natives from the Spaniards.

In the evening, we met some people from the bus for a beer and let the day end.
