New Zealand - Day 21 - Roys Peak

Today we wanted to go on a hike to Roys Peak. However, the road to the parking lot was already 5km long and with only one liter of water and provisions on an exceptionally beautiful and hot day, we underestimated the hike. Therefore, we were unable to reach the summit, but the view from the slope to the lake was already very beautiful. We were glad when we finally reached the supermarket after the hike to buy something to drink.

After dinner, we went back to the hostel.
