We took it easy on Saturday morning. In the early afternoon, we took a taxi to a restaurant near the famous Ricks Cafe where the prices were cheaper.
When we arrived, we asked if dinner was already available since it was only 4pm. The waitress confirmed this and we sat down and ordered. After about 45 minutes, we were served pumpkin soup, which we were happy about since it wasn't mentioned anywhere that soup was included. After about 60 minutes, the waitress came back and we were very hungry by then. Suddenly, she told us, 'the kitchen is empty'. We were shocked and couldn't believe it. They made us sit here for an hour, let us drink our drinks, and now they have nothing left to cook. Unbelievable! Our mood dropped, especially since we still had to pay for our drinks. However, we only paid half for this 'service' even though they wanted everything - we didn't care.
Since we were very hungry, we went straight to Ricks Cafe and had dinner there, despite the higher prices. Ricks Cafe is world famous for its cliff jumping into the sea. Unfortunately, we didn't see anyone doing it, but it didn't matter to us because we finally had something to eat. It was still a cool evening!
End of Day 16.
