Kloster Buratien

On July 16th, I booked a tour of the nearby Buratien Monastery through Lukas. Until then, I didn't even know that this region of Buratien existed and that it is influenced by Buddhism. The monastery complex is huge and geared towards tourists. Speakers spread prayer sounds throughout the entire complex. The history of the monastery and Buddhism is certainly very interesting. You can also visit the allegedly still living 172-year-old monk, who, according to legend, meditated underground for several decades. The tour lasted 4 hours, then I was glad to continue to the next overnight spot by a river.
