94th Day / July 2nd: Población de Campos - Calzadilla

The Slovenians' alarm clock goes off at 3 o'clock. There's no choice but to get up at 5 o'clock. In the end, it's good because it will be mentally and physically the most demanding day for me, with a 17 km Vía Aquitana through a treeless plain in blazing heat.

But first a stop in Carrión de los Condes with a trip to the 12th century.

There is also the 2nd Y-shaped cross in Spain

Then it gets demanding: the old Roman road, which runs straight for 17 km through the hot plateau, awaits from 12 o'clock for 3 hours. At least I have Lukas as a companion who distracts me excellently. But even I consider this stage as the limits, from Km 14 to Km 31!

But in the end, there is a destination in Calzadilla de la Cueza.

It's Babsy's last day of work. I deeply regret not being able to be there, but Stephan and Jule were there for their mother. From now on, we are both free and there are less than three weeks until we meet again - Hooray 😊😊😊😘😘😘👍👍👍💪💪💪
