I wanted to run away from it on Victory Day, which is the national holiday in France, but I couldn't.

Actually a beautiful stage through vineyards, but even for the best wine locations of Burgundy - Clos de Vougeot - there is no view.

I arrive in Nuits-St-Georges around 2 pm, and make sure to visit the Eglise Saint-Symphorien of St. James.


I arrive at the Chalet du pelerin, turn on the heating to dry myself, then Marcel arrives just as frozen and soaked. Marcel started in Nancy 2 weeks ago and also wants to go to Compostella. He is 28 years old and we get along well 😊
