Let's go to the bazaar

Published: 13.04.2023

Early this morning, just like yesterday, we were woken up at six by a constant ringing of a cellphone alarm from the neighboring room. Today, we didn't let it happen and Andi went out and knocked on the door, finally giving us peace from the alarm. We hope for tomorrow to have actual peace. It still baffles me how one can sleep through hours of alarm ringing in their own room.

Today we went to Manavgat, where there is a market and the bazaar is supposedly worth seeing. During the Dolmus ride, there was a moment of danger when a minivan decided to make a turn, but then the Dolmus suddenly sped up. However, with a lot of honking and cursing, everything turned out fine.

Once we arrived, we were all a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of the city and the market. The size and the offerings were gigantic. Of course, I was in my element, looking around and of course, bargaining. Football t-shirt, bag, belt, and caps were then packed in the bags.

After the ride back, it was finally time for the kids to slide and play squash. The women went to the beach and made ourselves comfortable there, even though it was windy today.

In the evening, we briefly enjoyed the sunset and the very calm beach promenade.

Finally, we were able to take the "insta" photos and burn off the last bit of energy from the kids before starting an Uno match.

Best regards, Nadine
