From the lonely island to the big city... or something like that could be the title of this trip. Yes, indeed, the transition from the lonely beaches in the Seychelles to the hustle and bustle of Sydney was enormous.
However, Sydney quickly captivated us. The friendly people, the well-maintained facilities, and the good infrastructure were very appealing to us from the beginning. And then there was something else... oh yes, the Opera House and the world-famous bridge that resembles a clothes hanger. From the front, from the back, from the side, and of course, from the bridge, we, along with countless Japanese, Chinese, and people from all over the world, had to take photos of these two landmarks.
But there was something else that caught our attention. We had never seen so many people engage in sports in a city before. Jogging, cycling, gymnastics, and various other sports activities shape everyday life here.
Of course, a hop-on hop-off tour was also on our agenda. First through the city center, then out to the impressive beaches (Bondi Beach) and of course, past the quite beautiful suburbs of Sydney.
Three days in the big city were enough, on the fourth day, we took over our campervan and set off northward.
