When the sun goes down

Published: 17.07.2019

With a little distance, due to compensating for lack of sleep, we now look back on the rest of yesterday.

We had to realize that we published the last blog entry too early, namely shortly before the end of the bus ride.

After a short wobble, the bus stopped and our bus driver got out (We blamed it on the road surface). He came back, made a phone call and told us that a new small bus would come and we would continue slowly until then.

At an intersection in the middle of nowhere, we eventually stopped and waited for the bus.

The bus driver got out and looked at his tires again. Curious as Mike is, he also wanted to see the spectacle. It wasn't the tire like we thought, but it seemed to be something with the axle. There was a lot of oil to see there.

Well be that as it may, the new bus came very quickly and so we had to say goodbye to X9.

We checked into the hotel and without any incidents, we moved into our room. However, we noticed that we had ended up in a very noble but very beautiful hotel.

Afterwards, we headed towards the pool, where we also had a very delicious gyros plate with fries and tzatziki. This even exceeded our expectations and we got more than full from a single portion. The sun loungers were tested and before we got ready for dinner, a test of the pool was a must. Everything like in a dream.

After the uneventful but also delicious dinner, we took a walk on the beach and watched the wonderful sunset over KOS.

However, our lack of sleep caught up with us again, so we went back to our room and quickly fell asleep in the land of dreams.

The alarm clock rang this morning (unfortunately and seemingly) way too early. The subsequent breakfast also more than satisfied us, so we are now strengthened for the day.

Our goal is to explore the beach a bit.

See you later.
