Punta Gallinas
Deeper into the desert means more adventure, right? Wrong! Staying here is fully organized by the indigenous people who still reside in the desert, but it's still incredibly...

14 hours drive! From the jeep through the desert to a luxury bus with Spanish films to a small bus full of Colombians, everything is included! 480 kilometers as the crow flies (for 66000 Pesos, which is exactly 20 euros) with sunstroke, but it wasn't that bad. Here I had the opportunity to practice my Spanish a bit and finally start one of the 2 books that I've been carrying around for a month.
I was also glad to shower with fresh water again soon. The city is quite nice, but there is a lot of tourism here. Countless street vendors define the landscape and it is hot and humid. When we went out once, we ended up in a club that was populated 50% by prostitutes and 50% by unpleasant (of course male) tourists. I've never left a place so quickly before.
I consider this evening an 'interesting experience'.
After thinking back and forth for a long time, I decided to travel to Cali and from there to El Choco in the west.
